Fly Moments was a 9ft tall basketball net commissioned by the Charlotte Hornets to celebrate their 35th season. Designed and built during Fall 2023, the piece features an intricate laser cut aluminum net, a 4ft diameter rim inspired by Space Jam, and a 30in diameter basketball suspended in the middle. 35 images from the history of the Hornets are highlighted in illuminated honeycomb style frames while nine large arcade buttons around the base provide interactive moments - highlighting various points across the history of the franchise.
