DUNE: Spacing Guild Representative
Inspired by the science fiction ecclesiastical aesthetic of the 2021 Dune film, the Spacing Guild vestments and helmet continue to reflect the futurism embraced by SuperDaftBros.
This piece features a custom made ivory and gold cope and tabard with an imposing 3D Printed helmet and vacuum formed dome. One of the most unique challenges this project addressed was the use of racing drone FPV equipment to allow the wearer to see beyond the opaque dome.
Doctor Strange: The Collection
The Doctor Strange Collection was a collaboration between SuperDaftBros and local artist and fashion designer, TheWizardTailor. The centerpiece is the award winning animatronic Eye of Agamotto - an intricate replica from the Marvel Studio films. Additional pieces in this collection are the illuminated Sword of Vishanti and Spell Disks, and a one of a kind Spectral Staff finial. Each piece was exquisitely designed and manufactured by SuperDaftBros.
Wizarding Derby Hat
Born out of the question “What would a wizard wear to the Kentucky Derby?”, this Wizarding Derby Hat is a celebration of architecture and magic. Featuring illuminated icons from London’s Skyline, an animatronic clown, a self driving Triple Decker Bus, a magically collapsing town house, and four tiny shops filled with LCD screens and animated proprietors, this “Hat” defines eccentric. Custom designed, 3D Printed, painted, and assembled, this project is a masterpiece of detail and intrigue.
