The eponymous SuperDaftBros helmets were the first collaborative project between Ian and William in 2011. Originally an overly ambitious Halloween costume, the helmets have been irregularly iterated upon over the years, culminating in their present form. They serve as a reminder of the progression of technology and our own skills.

The current iteration is a mashup of Daft Punk’s iconic robot helmets, with design nods to the Super Mario Brothers. Featuring hand soldered, see-through RGB LED matrices, durable 3D Printed frames, and glossy automotive enamel finishes, they have formed the basis of our creative personalities in the community.
